Pizza Base

Pizza Base Mix for making soft and elastic dough for plain pizza base.


Recipe:

Ingredients

  1. Pizza Base Mix 1000 g (6 1/2 cups)
  2. Instant Dry Yeast 15 g (1 1/2 tablespoon)
  3. Olive Oil 50 g (10 tablespoon)
  4. Water 500 g (2 1/4 cups)

Preparation Method

  • First step :
  1. Combine all ingredients and mix until becomesmooth dough.
  2. Fermentation time: 10 minutes.
  3. Sheet to desired thickness (about 0.5 cm / thickness as required).
  4. Cut with suitable cutter or use special pizza mould.
  5. Proofing: 15-25 minutes.
  6. Bake at 210OC.
  7. Baking time: approx 5-8 minutes (1/2 bake).


  • Second step:
  1. Use tomato sauce or ketchup top of 1/2 baked Pizza base.
  2. Use all fillings (onions, black olives, tomatoes, mushrooms...) and granted mozzarella cheese.
  3. Bake at 210OC.
  4. Baking time: 3-5 minutes.
