Ingredients
- Cake Donut Mix 1000 g (6 cups)
- Water 500 g (2 cups)
Lamination:
- Butter or Pastry Margarine 200 g
Preparation Method
- Mix all ingredients for 10 minutes.
- Allow rest period of 20 minutes.
- Prepare pastry margarine or butter.
- Lamination : Sheet down the dough to 2 cm. thickness, fold over pastry margarine or pastry butter.
- Give 3 single fold (tri-fold) give rest for 10 - 15 minutes in between 3 folding.
- Sheet to desired thickness (approx. 1.5 cm - 2 cm).
- Cut with a suitable cutter (use Donut cutter)
- Arrange on flour dusted tray or a frying screen.
- Final proof 30 - 40 minutes.
- Fry in hot oil (175 - 180OC) about 30 seconds per side.
